The Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry opened Israel's first commercial attaché in Hanoi, Vietnam Monday, as part of the ministry's plan to expand services for exporters. Ran Yehezkel was appointed commercial attaché. Israeli export to Vietnam in 2008 amounted to about $78 million, and import from Vietnam was estimated at about $128 million.
