In Iraq, two suicide bombings kill 31

The coordinated strikes occur in a market in Balad Ruz, in Diyala province. In Baghdad, a car bomb leaves a U.S. soldier and nine civilians dead. At least 31 Iraqis were killed and 71 wounded in a double suicide bombing north of the capital Thursday, police and hospital officials said.
