African bank scraps nations' debt  es  nl

The African Development Bank has decided to write off the debt of 13 African countries totalling $8.54 billion. The immediate beneficiaries are Benin, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Madagascar, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia, the said in a statement.
