British fox hunters using birds and hounds Sep. 17, 2005 at 1:12PM British hunters have found a loophole in the 2004 ban on the use of dogs to hunt foxes. The Guardian reports that hunters are using birds -- mostly eagles and hawks -- to prey on foxes. The Hunting Act 2004 banned hound dogs from being the actual predator.
